Misty's Indian Pudding
Indian pudding has been around probably as long as Thanksgiving itself, when colonial settlers referred to cornmeal as Indian meal. Our Indian pudding has a taste similar to pumpkin pie, created by the unusual blend of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. The base is cornmeal, farm fresh milk, and molasses which gives the pudding its authentic texture. Indian pudding is an old New England favorite, traditionally served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Echo Farm Misty's Indian Pudding is offered seasonally from September to December in family size containers and is a great treat for the holidays.
Misty's Indian Pudding is made with farm-fresh whole milk, molasses, cornmeal, sugar, eggs, butter, salt, spices and a special vanilla extract, best served warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
